Our Story
Big Heart Animal Foundation was created from one simple belief: love changes everything.
What began with one therapy dog and a desire to comfort others quickly grew into something bigger. Through hospital visits, nursing homes, rescue transports, and quiet moments beside those who needed companionship most, we saw firsthand how powerful the human–animal bond can be.
Inspired by a lifelong love for animals and built in memory of family members who showed compassion to everyone they met, Big Heart Animal Foundation was founded to serve both animals and people with dignity, kindness, and heart.
Today, we provide therapy dog visits, rescue and transport services, foster support, and are working toward our dream of creating a sanctuary where animals can heal, rest, and finally feel safe.
